- SAGE

- The Joseph
Pedott Perpetual Endowment (JPPE) of San Francisco has awarded a
collaborative grant of $25,000 to SAGE California and the Future
Leaders Institute. The proposal is entitled “FLI and SAGE: A
Partnership to Advance Civic Leadership and Social Entrepreneurship for
Disadvantaged Youth of California.” With this grant, seven high schools
in the San Francisco Bay Area will participate in SAGE as part of their
FLI activities. Thank you, Joe Pedott, and your board of trustees, for
believing in our programs. We will make sure you earn a high return on
your social investment.
- Rob Best,
SAGEGLOBAL COO, will make a trip to Zambia and Uganda in January to
help launch SAGE in our two newest African countries. Safe travels,
Rob, and congratulations to John Lukisa and Robert Okello, SAGE Zambia
and SAGE Uganda Country Coordinators, respectively.
- We
are currently talking with leaders in Romania, Bulgaria, Northern
Ireland, UAE, India and Thailand about launching SAGE in these
countries later in 2009 or 2010. New
